Another week, another NBA on TNT doubleheader on our hands as we gear up to see the Knicks and Cavs meet for the first time since their sizzling playoff series last season and the Spurs facing off against the Suns in Phoenix.

Knicks vs. Cavaliers

The Knicks have started the season 1-2 overall and ATS, but I like this spot for them to pick up a win. The Knicks defeated the Cavaliers in five games in the first round and it was largely due to their massive rebounding edge as they rebounded close to 50% of their misses in that series and that was with center Jarrett Allen in the lineup.
Now the Cavs will have to play Evan Mobley at center and will likely turn to Tristan Thompson and Damian Jones off the bench. Allen will remain out for this game along with guards Darius Garland, Ty Jerome, and Ricky Rubio. This Cavs lineup is very thin right now and I think the Knicks are the perfect team to capitalize as they have one of the better benches in the NBA with Josh Hart, Immanuel Quickley, Donte DiVincenzo, and Isaiah Hartenstein.
The Cavaliers' depth is non-existent right now and they actually turned to Craig Porter Jr., Emoni Bates, and Thompson for spot minutes last game against the Pacers. Focusing on the starters, Quentin Grimes should be able to limit Donovan Mitchell from having a massive game.
If Mitchell isn’t beating his man off the dribble, the Cavaliers offense will be reliant on Caris LeVert and he isn’t much of a creator for his teammates — the Knicks will live with LeVert beating them. I’m comfortable playing the Knicks here at any number below -3.

Spurs vs. Suns

Victor Wembanyama has seen his turnover line rise from 1.5 (those were the days) to 2.5 and now it sits at 3.5 (+110). I think there’s still some value.
Victor has recorded at least four turnovers in his three games with a sky high usage rate (28.3%) which is the highest on the team, per Cleaning the Glass.
His minutes have not taken a huge spike just yet, but San Antonio clearly wants him to be the focal part of the offense whenever he is on the floor. He will continue to see volume, and with that, there will be plenty of opportunities for miscues.
Pick: Victor Wembanyama over 3.5 Turnovers (+110)

Spurs vs. Suns
The Spurs are going to be one of the worst rebounding teams all season because Zach Collins and Victor Wembanyama are in their frontcourt.
This makes for an ideal matchup in favor of Jusuf Nurkic, Collins' former teammate in Portland, who will be a double-double threat all season long, who already has one this season.
Nurk has a 14 and 14 game this season, done against the Golden State Warriors on opening night who didn't have Draymond Green, and this will be his most advantageous match-up on the glass since. Collins isn't great on the boards, and Wembanyama won't be consistently as a rookie. The occasional 12-rebound game will occur, but we don't expect it often enough to deter us from taking Nurk over 9.5 tonight.
